Excursions/Incursions

Year 11 Certificate II Sport and Recreation Coaching

Friday's 13, 20 and 27 September, 18 October and 8 November 2019.  This excursion will facilitate Certificate II Sport and Recreation students coach Primary School students as part of their Certificate II work.  Venue: Hampton Park Primary School.  Depart College: 1.40pm, return to College 2.50pm.  For clothing and other items required, please see permission slip available here.

Year 9 Netball Match Play

Tuesday 17 and 24 September 2019.  Students will compete in a friendly match play against other Specialist Sports Program Schools.  Students will further develop and implement skills and strategies coached in 2019 into match play.  Venue: Governor Stirling and Warwick SHS.  Depart College: 9.55am, return to College: 12.25pm.  For clothing and other items required, please see permission slip available here.

Year 7 - 10 Netball Specialist Day

Friday 20 September 2019.  Students participate in beach volleyball and netball games.  Students further develop and implement skills learnt in Term 1, 2 and 3.  Students to further develop interpersonal skills and teamwork strategies.  Venue: Sand Sports and Craigie Leisure Centre.  Depart College: 8.30am, return to College: 2.45pm.  For clothing and other items required, please see permission slip available here.

Year 8 (2020) Netball Trials

Monday 23 September 2019.  This trial provides an opportunity for Year 7 students, already enrolled at John Forrest SC, to trial for the Year 8 2020 Netball Program classes.  Venue: JFSC Netball Courts.  Commencing 8.30 for one hour.  For clothing and other items required, please see permission slip available here.

Year 7 and 8 Netball Camp

Wednesday 4 to Friday 6 December 2019.  This camp will enable students to demonstrate the skills they have acquired throughout 2019 against friendly but strong competition.  Students will demonstrate and improve their netball skills and game strategies.  The students will also demonstrate and improve their self-management and interpersonal skills through participation in team building activities.  Venue: Woodman Point Camp.  Depart College 4 December 8.30am, return to College 6 December 2.30pm.  For clothing and other items required, please see permission slip available here.

Year 9 and 10 Netball Camp

Tuesday 10 to Friday 13 December 2019.  This camp will enable students to demonstrate skills they have acquired throughout 2019 against friendly but strong competition.  Students will demonstrate and improve their netball skills, game strategies, self-management and interpersonal skills.  Venue: Bunbury and Busselton regions.  Depart College: Tuesday 10 December 8.30am, return to College: Friday 13 December 3.00pm.  For clothing and other items required, please see permission slip available here.
