Music

The College has two music dedicated classrooms, four instrumental teaching rooms, including a well-equipped percussion studio. Each classroom is fitted out with up to date state of the art Yamaha keyboards, thanks to our partnership with the Yamaha Education Centre. Music students also have a room set up with computers running music writing software and other music-based programs.

Sports

Renowned for our specialist sports programs in Cricket, Netball and Tennis, we have excellent sports facilities and resources, set amongst lush and expansive grounds.

Cricket students play on turf wickets and have regular access to the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) ground.

The College also boasts one turf wicket, two netball courts (one full size) and six tennis courts.

All programs employ highly qualified and trained specialist staff who have excelled in their chosen sport at state and/or national level.

IT Support Centre

John Forrest has a dedicated Student and Staff IT Support Centre located in the college library. The centre and college network is supported by two highly skilled IT technicians. Students can access the centre before school, during break times and after school. Students experiencing difficulty with their computers during timetable c lasses can access IT support with classroom teacher permission. Students are encouraged to access the centre during their break times.

The college is grateful to Bendigo Bank and their local Morley Noranda branch who approved and granted a $150,000 Community Project Grant to assist the college in extending the college library to include a Career Centre and IT Support Centre.
