John Forrest Secondary College - 50 Year Reunion

Bayswater Little Athletics Club

Bayswater Little Athletics Club consists of 6 clubs. Beechboro, Camboon, Emberson, Embleton Eden Hill and North Bassendean. Clubs compete together on Saturday mornings at Wylde Road reserve in Noranda starting on the 5 October. Ages are from U6 to U17.

University of Western Australia FIRST Robotics Competition for High School Students

The University of Western Australia and would like to make you aware of a great program starting this year. The program is called the FIRST robotics competition (FRC) and is an international robotics competition in which high school students from ages 13-18 design, prototype, build and market a large robot during the summer holidays. UWA are currently looking for willing and passionate students to learn engineering and media skills and put them to use in the program. No experience is required just a passion to learn and be involved. A former participant, said this program is an unforgettable experience and not to be missed. Students will learn professional engineering, communication and teamwork skills.
