Years 9/10

In Year 9 and 10 students begin to choose the pathways that will help to determine their course of studies in Senior School. Teachers will advise students of appropriate pathways to best suit their academic needs and ability.

All students in Year 9 and 10 are required to study:

• English
• Health & Physical Education
• Humanities and Social Science
• Mathematics
• Science
• Work Readiness (Year 10 only)

Students who gain entry to the Academic Excellence Program are placed in advanced classes and those who require assistance in literacy and numeracy are supported through a modified Enrichment Program.

A number of elective courses and specialist programs add diversity and value and complete the comprehensive academic program.
