Incursion lights up students’ inspiration 

In Week 1 Term 4, our talented Year 9 Theatre – Design & Production students dove into the world of lighting design and learnt about the specialist lighting equipment in the Auditorium. They identified the difference between a Fresnel and a Profile light and explored how light can shape mood, atmosphere, and storytelling on stage. Then put their knowledge to the test in a creative photo shoot.

Using LED torches, coloured cellophane, and a whole lot of imagination, students styled dramatic images that communicated powerful messages through colour and intensity.

In Week 2 they move on to SFX make-up, starting with bruises and black eyes.
