IMSS Brass Masterclass

On Monday 27 October, our brass students were treated to a masterclass from the IMSS Brass Quintet, which included our own teacher, Mr Thompson.

It was an opportunity for students to hear professional standard brass ensemble playing and we were treated to a full range of musical styles.

The masterclass concluded with all of the students playing along with a rousing version of 'When the Saints Go Marching In.'

The John Forrest brass players were joined by some of our wonderful and dedicated Year 6 musicians from Bayswater PS, and Weld Square PS.
