Ibaraki Christian College Visit

John Forrest SC had the pleasure of hosting students from Ibaraki Christian College for two days during Week 8 Term 4. Our visitors joined their buddies in lessons across all learning areas, bringing shared culture, curiosity and plenty of smiles into classrooms.

Highlights include seeing them team up with our Year 9 Japanese students to form lively Taiko drum groups, as well as rolling up their sleeves with their buddies to make delicious onigiri together. The shared language and culture learning was wonderful to witness.

Thank you to all buddies, students and staff who helped make this exchange such an enjoyable and memorable experience for everyone involved.
