2025 HASS Tour

On the last day of Term 3, 25 intrepid students and 3 very brave teachers took to the skies on a whirlwind tour of Sydney and Canberra for 6 nights.

It was a week full of sights, sounds, and learning experiences as the John Forrest contingent visited places like The Sydney Opera House, Bondi Beach, Museum of Australian Democracy, Government House, Australian Institute of Sport, The High Court, Parliament House, National War Memorial, National Galleries, Questacon, National Film and Sound Archive and the National Museum of Australia.

It was wonderful for the teachers to see a group of students engage in every experience they encountered (including having to mimic toy soldiers whenever a teacher yelled "ATTENTION!", which resulted in some minor embarrassment in front of members of the public and other schools), but the true highlight was being able to witness these young adults interacting with each other, placing significant importance on fostering their relationships with peers and just having a bit of fun!
