Accredited Course in Early Career Discovery

Congratulations to the group of twenty Year 9 students who completed their Accredited Course in Early Career Discovery in Week 3 Term 2.

Learning tasks included investigation of emerging industries, research into future training pathways and use of career assessment tools and resources for career pathway planning; and they achieved a unit of competency.

The Northbridge campus of North Metropolitan TAFE was an excellent venue because, following course completion, the students ventured into the simulated underground mine to sample the sights, sounds and safety procedures associated with the mining industry. It is a truly amazing training facility.
