Music News Term 4 2014

Congratulations to Mayuka Juber on winning a place in the Symphony Services International Conductor Development Program for 2015. This will see Mayuka participating in workshops with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. This is a fantastic opportunity for Mayuka and a real credit to her dedication to conducting. Our students will definitely benefit from everything she'll learn while she's away!

Congratulations to Stephanie Parr who, as a member of the Giovanni Consort, was invited to back the Rolling Stones during their 2014 Perth concerts. Steph was also invited to travel to Adelaide in November 2014 to perform Handel's Messiah with the Adelaide Chamber Singers and Symphony Orchestra under the baton of English conductor Matthew Hales.
